I wanted to hear or read what you consider the “Church Reset” before I would subscribe.
Listening to this audio, I agree, the “institutional church system” is just as you describe it, it is a government registered non-profit corporation. As you were speaking on the “burn out” issue of Pastor’s, and describing the “staff” participation, I find it is far more simpler to understand. Where in the New Testament, either through the teaching of the Lord, or the Holy Spirit revelations given to Paul on how the True Body of Christ is too function, can one find that any “church” is too have a “staff” or the “merchandizing” of the sheep?
Also, a good point you made, why is their a “separate membership” encouraged so that one who is a believer can benefit from what they offer?
It would seem that unless you sign up on a membership card, you will not be included in all that local “church” offer’s. What happened to the teaching that once one is truly Born-again by and through the Power of the Holy Spirit, they are automatically a member of the True Body of Christ?
An additional separate membership to a local expression of the Body of Christ sounds much like a “cultish” type mind set.
I can not find it anywhere in scripture. So why is that?
