Thank you, Jack! I have had to deal with this issue throughout my preaching career. What I have found is too many people don’t use common sense in reading the Bible. They often get hung up on individual words or phrases. One discussion a gentlemen and I had centers on Luke 2:22 where it the KJV says “her purification” where the NIV says “the purification”. People need to understand, that there is not one perfect translation, but they all are plain on how to become a child of God!
