The word "Christian" has been used to much. Many have their eyes and ears closed to what is going on, because they believe in what their "pastors" tell them, INSTEAD of reading the Bible. I suppose they also "forget" that Jesus flipped the tables, meaning he was angry. I never worry about "Offending" someone, if they can't take the truth, that is their choice. It also says in the Bible, what will happen to the people that harm children. That it would be best to have a millstone hung around their necks and drowned. Thank you, Jack, for all you are doing here,

You have written two excellent articles on what God hates. If God Himself says He hates then who are we to say differently (Proverbs 6:16-19). Thank you for telling the truth that we MUST shun.

In 1979, while stationed in Europe as the superintendent of communications maintenance, the roommate of one of my shop supervisors told me that supervisor was a homosexual. One day the supervisor had been drinking and showed his roommate a car magazine. He was surprised that this was a car magazine meant for homosexuals. Then he showed him a directory of homosexual contacts in the world and the preferred sexual perversion of each contact. Satan !. We should all take to heart seriously, ponder the depth of Satan's machinations, take most seriously our role as parents and teachers, and fervently pray for wisdom regarding our defense the apostle John's reveals by implication -- "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world" (Rev 12:9). Earlier the apostle Peter admonished the church to "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" ( 1 Pe 5:8). And he is good at it!

It's sad to see Europe's path as our potential future.

Bro Jack. to be clear I was in Europe on a USAF base, but I do not know the source or geographical origin of either the directory or the car magazine.

Keep on keeping on, brother. What a horrific time in our world. May God protect our young. Any ideas on how to protect our kids?

Be proactive. Monitor what they're watching and talk honestly with them about why some things are off limits.

Explain that this is a sacrifice to not be watching everything their friends are watching, and that it's harder on you as a parent. It's something the family does together.

There's compelling research coming out that smart phones and social media are incredibly damaging to young minds, so be wise about that, too.

Good tips. TikTok is especially bad as a recruiting platform.

Lots of open conversation about the taboo, and from earlier than you think.

Porn-proof your house and let your kids know they can talk to you about that and the like any time.

It's a big one, but I always have to say it - abandon public schools. You can make your house a stronghold, but if their buddies and/or teachers pull them the other direction 40 hours/week it's a huge uphill battle.

Sad to say, but the kids in Christian schools and home school are watching the same videos when they have unlimited access via devices.

Recruit your kids to help you protect them, because the reality is you can't be there for every friend interaction. Give them the confidence and authority to say no to friends when something isn't right.

I think both sides of it are important. We should be impeccable in our behavior and in our internal teaching and discipline. Addressing pornography should be among every church's top priorities, for example.

But I do think once we have that messaging down, we should be vocally against LGBT causes because this is one of the clearest ways to reach those in the world who are waking up to the evil around them.
