"Generic God" is what so much of the Church has reduced the Creator of the universe to. No! His standards to live by are very specific and laid out clearly in the Bible. Though he doesn't focus on them, our pastor is not afraid to speak of cultural issues from the pulpit. We've lost some long-time members as a result of it, but I've always said that the Church needs a winnowing out. And now we're attracting much younger people who are tired of the subjective culture's lies and seek objective Truth.
