Good morning and thank you for this and all your devotionals! I have a few topics that I would like for you to share your insight:
1) Recently I heard a Baptist friend say we don’t take communion regularly because it’s not “written in red”…my response was 2 Tim 3, but I’d love an outline from you on this. I would also like an outline that I could keep with me on why we take communion on the first day of the week…. Just to have all the scriptures and explanations in order… does that make sense?😊
We are specifically speaking about women ministers. I would argue that they are attempting to push us out. What do you do with Exodus 15:20 where the scripture explicitly names Miriam as a prophetess?
Julia, God’s word and His church do not “keep women out.” That phrase does a disservice to Biblical teachings. There are so very many important things female members of the church do. Both males and females are needed for the church to be healthy. It’s simply that the genders have some God-given roles specific to each that cannot be fulfilled — and should not be attempted to be fulfilled — by the other.

I guess we will all find out when we get to Heaven. In the meantime, keep trying to keep women out.
