There is a difference between doctrine missing understanding and false doctrine. For example: Apollos on baptism. What do we say to congregations that use the instrument in worship? Is it wrong? Yes. Is it a sin? Yes. Does that make it false doctrine? What if the elders say they have studied scripture and concluded it is authorized? Is it now false doctrine?
Simplistic, and yet deep enough!
Thx Jack
