The Top 5
Ranking 2025
I’ll officially turn the page to 2026’s work on Monday, but in the meantime I wanted to do my customary rundown of the previous year’s work.
Thank you all for reading and listening along the way, with a special thank you to everyone who has supported me financially.
Without further ado, here are the top 5 articles of 2025
5. An Unexpected Controversy
Who knew it was so controversial to say that Christians should attend Sunday worship?
4. A Dangerous Trend in the Churches of Christ
This remains the most-read piece I’ve ever written, and even as a re-run it met a lot of agreement.
3. Lessons from the Life and Death of Charlie Kirk
What a terrible day that was. Even worse, I believe many of the lessons of that day have already been forgotten.
2. The Elephant in the Church
If only I knew at the time how this was far truer than I even realized. Though it wasn’t #1 by traffic numbers, it was probably the most important and the one I’d pick if someone asked for a single post to read from last year.
1. ‘He Gets Us’ Drops Their Mask
This was a revised and updated piece pointing out the subversion of the despicable ‘He Gets Us’ ad campaign for a second consecutive Super Bowl. I’m sure I’ll be back on their case again next month.
A personal favorite
This shift in church strategy would change everything… I just don’t think most are ready for it yet.
Top podcast
I examined the Biblical case for Ted Cruz’s claim that we must support the nation of Israel. Stay tuned for next week’s Think Deeper Podcast as we examine this from a different direction.
Thank you again for reading, watching, and listening. It’s a blessing to get to do what I do and interact with so many wonderful people. A few quick notes before I go:
If you haven’t already, join the new Facebook group where you can keep up with my work and converse with other like-minded Christians.
This year, I’m planning to bring you more book reviews, with Charlie Kirk’s book on Sabbath rest up first. Keep an eye out for that post next week.
And, I’m putting together material for live streams/podcasts on the book of Revelation. I’m very excited to get that out, be sure to tune in.
