As in everything, there must be balance. Well stated.

I imagine a decent amount of brethren are trying to decide if they should preach about this topic or not. Let’s just say that I learned about most of these things back in 2019 and was baptized into the church in August of 2020. There’s a lot of people out there like me who have learned of this evil and decided that the other side must exist as well. His name is Jesus.

That was a balanced overview.

Years ago, I was browsing in a bookstore and came across John Toland's biography of Adolf Hitler. I was sort of interested in it, as I had an interest in WW2, the Holocaust, and German history in general. But, I thought, as a Christian, "Who needs any knowledge of Hitler?"

After some internal going back and forth, I bought the book, and found it highly interesting. It had a lot of general history.

Such a book on occasion, or a Holocaust survival narrative, or something about the Soviet Labor camps, tell us much about the world in which we are supposed to shine as lights.

Conversely, I have always avoided books about Hitler and the occult, and have no interest in the specific details of the Epstein case. But the big picture is a powerful indictment of the sinfulness of the human heart, the failure of secularism and the need for God and his laws.

There has always been entrapment, slavery and sex traffickers. The world is full of it. Epstein in my view was just that for the "upper crust" wealthy people. The fate of the Ukrainians, the people of Iran and now the people of Cuba weigh far more heavily than Epstein associates. Very few in the US have been named or suffered consequences unlike the UK. Our government is very good at keeping secrets. Like the truth of JFK assassination we will never know the inconvenient truth. Jesus told his disciples in Luke 22 to sell their clothes if necessary to purchase swords against the perils of their day. I carry a .45. I know how evil the world actually is with or without Epstein.

Smart as serpents and gentle as doves… ✝️🙏🏽✝️

I literally just had this conversation with a wonderful Christian sister… Pretty much she didn’t want to know about any of it… She wanted to stay completely insulated. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Personally, I don’t want to be broadsided by something like this. I had another wonderful Christian sister, who being one to jump in to situations, marched with the BLM rioters… Researching and looking carefully into the people that were sponsoring this and their Marxism and anti-Christian rhetoric, that obviously was NOT the thing to do. 😱😱😱 I have several other examples… I’m very glad to keep abreast of all of this.

Knowledge is power. It also keeps you from getting into things that you DON’T need to be getting into! 😬😬😬🤦🏽‍♀️

It’s also a point for wonderful conversations about sin and evil, and the flip-side… Jesus and the church that HE died for. 🙏🏽✝️💖🇺🇸
