Great job. Many people are stubborn and fail to see because they have been blinded by the god of this world in seeing the gospel (2 Cor. 4:4). They might understand part of it (Jesus/faith only), but the Calvinist/false teachers poison has largely caused disobedience to the complete gospel (2 Thess. 1:8; 1 Cor . 15:3-4; Rom. 6, Mk 1:15, etc.)

They may mean well, but in essence they are denying the power of God to use His means, methods and commands to accomplish salvation in those who obey completely not partially. How many biblical examples of partial obedience do we have? Many. There’s no ceremonial baptism v. judicial salvation. It’s all part of God’s and Jesus’ commandments and plan. Col. 2:12, Hebrews 9:22, Acts 2:38. 1 Pt. 3:21. Etc.

We must be buried WITH him into death and RAISED to walk in newness of life. Rom. 6 ( paraphrased and my emphasis), otherwise we’re disobedient because we’re not obeying the full gospel including repentance, confession, baptism and not forgiven or justified or washed or sanctified or saved or anything. (Ref. I Cor. 6:11, etc.)

They're completely dedicated to shoehorning a view into the text rather than letting the verses speak for themselves. Very sad.
