You’re exactly right—this moment demands more than fleeting emotion. We must step into it with the courage of Proverbs 28:1: ‘The wicked flee when no man pursueth, but the righteous are bold as a lion.’ If this is to be more than a post-9/11-style bounce, we need to embrace that lion-hearted boldness in every sphere—personal, public, and institutional. Revival cannot survive on enthusiasm alone; it requires repentance, conviction, and a willingness to stand firm when the world pushes back. If we want to see lasting change, we cannot shrink into the shadows.

Now is the time to live, speak, and act as if Christ truly reigns.

I'm old enough to have lived in times where missionaries were martyred in South America. Everyone who can read is old enough to have lived in times where Christ followers have been martyred in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. And now I've lived in a time where an American Christian has been martyred. Now is not the time to step back. It's time to fill the breach in whatever way the Father leads you.

I'm talking to others about the possibility of starting a "kinder and gentler" version of the Babylon Bee, targeted to our own community on social media. People need to be challenged to see what's going on, to think about it, and make a choice.

I'm also talking to others about supporting the Turning Point USA chapter at a local high school. These young people need to know that we're standing with them.

And yet JD has no problem about demonizing people by accusing them of eating the cats.

Jack, you’re on top of it, brother! What great potential we have been given. The late and beloved brother Ira Rice once told me while we were on a mission trip…while other religious groups were established in foreign mission fields, the Lord’s was just sitting on the edge of the bed putting on our boots. In other words, we were typically slow in our response to an opportunity. Please, let’s not allow this tremendous opportunity pass us by. Jack, thank you for reminding us this is a great and wonderful challenge to move forward with the gospel message and hope.
