Longtime readers might remember that a highly challenging men’s growth gathering is an idea I’ve kicked around for a while. At a certain point, it’s time to stop kicking it around and start making it happen.
I’m not ready to announce a time and place just yet, but I do want to introduce the idea and start getting feedback from men who might be interested in attending.
A brief description of what I have in mind:
The Men’s Excellence Workshop will be a Thursday-Saturday gathering for men, initially in Middle TN, starting in Spring 2027. Eventually we hope to host multiple workshops per year across 2-3 states.
The workshop will feature a mix of short talks, breakout sessions, personal journaling time, and team-building activities. After the workshop, ongoing accountability groups will be established to help attendees reach their personal goals.
The aim of these workshops is to help men grow in specific, measurable ways in their personal lives and walks with God to better themselves, their families, their churches, and their communities.
I’m currently in the process of lining up leaders, securing a meeting place, and handling various other logistical concerns. Once I have those details firmed up, I will share all the info and a signup link with anybody who leaves an email address on the form at the site.
