I hope this letter finds you doing well and growing daily in your walk with God. In these challenging times for the home, the church, and the culture, the path before us is difficult, but we serve a God who has never lost a battle.
With that path in mind, I wanted to update you on what I’ve been up to in this corner of the kingdom.
The two years since going full time with Focus Press have been a whirlwind, including three book releases of my own and two more books co-authored, along with over 250 podcast episodes, dozens of videos, well over 100 articles, and seminars in six states. Lord willing, the work will keep on rolling in 2025.
Let me tell you about a few projects on the docket:
While the usual weekly content will continue, I’m also working to produce a book to help Christians feel assured in their salvation, along with the second and third volumes of the A Closer Walk with Thee devotional series. And, I’m working on publishing a collection of classic Restoration Movement writings, such as Thomas Campbell’s Declaration and Address.
However, the project I’m most excited about is one I’m undertaking with my brother, Joe, called the Men’s Excellence Intensives.
These intensives will be, to my knowledge, the first of their kind in the church. It will not be another conference or lecture-style men’s retreat, but rather a development program. The aim is to strengthen men who can lead in the home and the church by helping them identify and overcome their current shortcomings and struggles and have accountability and brotherhood to spur them on to continued growth.
I believe this is the single most important work the church can do today. The goal is to host the first Intensive this year, and possibly two, Lord willing with more to come in the future as we get the wheels in motion. (To learn more about this project, please go here.)
However…
As has been the case for many in recent years, times have been tough economically for us at Focus Press. So, I’m humbly requesting monthly support in order to continue the work I’m doing.
If monthly support is unfeasible at this time, I certainly understand. However, one-time support would also be a tremendous boost to my work.
Of course, above all, I ask that you pray for me and the ministries I’m involved in. I’ve been blessed to be doing what I do for 14 years and, Lord willing, I hope there is plenty more to be done.
